Cinémotif Films is a Prague-based independent film production company founded in 2016. The company has three producers: Kristýna Michálek Květová, Martina Netíková and Tomáš Michálek.
We focus on development and production of both feature and documentary films suitable for European co-productions. We are interested in both majority and minority film projects that are looking for new approaches to filmmaking. The company is a member of Czech Audiovisual Producer Association.
Kristýna Michálek Květová graduated from FAMU, Film Academy in Prague, production department. She founded Cinémotif Films in 2016. Before that she worked for various production companies on shorts, features, series and commercials. In Cinémotif Films she focuses on both fiction and documentary films. In the past years she has attended various international training platforms such as as EURODOC, IDFAcademy, Ex Oriente, Midpoint Script Development Workshop or MFI Script2Film. Her last film, The Visitors, was selected for Semaine de la Critique at Locarno IFF.
kristyna@cinemotiffilms.czMartina studied production dpt. at FAMU and photography at SPSG in Prague. During her studies she has produced Damian Vondrasek’s short films - IMPRISONED (2016) premiered at KVIFF and San Sebastian FF and nominated for Czech lion award and also the last short FRONTIER (2020) premiered at Trieste Film Festival and nominated for Czech lion award in two categories. She is also a founder of a distribution label called “FAMU in cinema”, which helps short films to successful cinema and VOD distribution. Currently Martina is co-producing Tom Wilson's debut feature, whose majority producer is Corneliu Poruboiu from Romanian company 42KMFILM.
martina@cinemotiffilms.czTomáš graduated from FAMU, Film Academy in Prague, production department. In 2011, he co-founded an independent production company MasterFilm. In 2020 he joined Cinémotif Films as a senior producer. He produces both fiction, animation and documentaries. He is an alumni of EAVE, EURODOC and EMERGING PRODUCERS.
